State Senator Receives Over 1700 Decks Of Playing Cards !!

Maureen Walsh , A Washington state senator received over 1700 decks of playing cards after making the remark that most nurses in rural Hospitals spend most of their day Playing Cards !   She made this comment during a debate on a bill that would require Hospitals give the nurses uninterrupted meal and rest breaks . Miss Walsh apologized for her comments after receiving the cards and thousands of phone calls .

A California lawmaker introduced a law to make Illegal for waiters/waitress to give straws to a customer who did not request them. Doing so, one could end up with 6 months in jail or $1000 fine or both . By passing this law it would cut down on all the straws that make their way into landfills and waterways, not to mention on the streets and sideways of our cities. Search ...
